Soccer is one of the most popular sports in the world. It started in the 2nd and 3rd centuries in china but today it is played almost everywhere. Soccer is a game consisting 12 players from two teams, both standing on a rectangular grass field, One team positioning at one side and the other team at the other side of the field. A referee is involved together with other officials, the line men and the assitant referee who control and judge the game.

In typical game play, players attempt to create goal scoring opportunities through individual control of the ball, such as by dribbling, passing the ball to a team-mate, and by taking shots at the goal, which is guarded by the opposing goalkeeper. Opposing players may try to regain control of the ball by intercepting a pass or through tackling the opponent in possession of the ball; however, physical contact between opponents is restricted. A goal is worth 3 points in any football competition.
